Nissan Rogue recall affects nearly 1,644 vehicles from 2014 model-year. Affected are Nissan Rogue crossovers. All the affected vehicles were manufactured between January 10 and January 17, 2014.
The problem with the affected vehicles is that an improper bolt may have been used to connect the intermediate shaft to the upper steering assembly. If this occurs, the condition may cause the bolt to loosen and fall out. As a result of this, the vehicle may lose control increasing the risk of a collision.
Owners of the affected vehicles will be informed about Nissan Rogue recall in June. Dealers will inspect the affected vehicles and repair them for free. Consumers with questions may contact the automaker at 800-647- 7261 for more information about the recall.
